Dear Ebay, For international sellers to have their items visible on Ebay.com has become increasingly harder over the years. With the recent 'de minimis' law change and other import regulatory changes in the USA, selling to the USA has become unviable for small businesses and private sellers. But Ebay.com still appears the main site people in many parts of the world use to view what is in the marketplace globally. In so doing, they get a very, very curated selection. Before the law change in the USA that appeared to be market-protective policy driven by US domestic interests (governmental or otherwise), just like the recent changes. How is that in the interest of Ebay? It may very well be logistically and even financially: governments and corporations can align interests. But for users worldwide, it is unfortunate to find themselves sort of benched by the Ebay they collectively helped grow over decades. So, please consider the following. If you would put in code that makes it possible for items from sellers outside the USA to be found on Ebay.com by buyers who browse (so even when not yet logged-in) from outside the USA, regardless of whether or not the USA has been excluded as a send-to location in sellers' general or item specific shipping preferences, no harm is done to domestic users (they do not get shown items unavailable to them), while sales volume is increased for the rest of the global user base from sheer items exposure. Boils down to policy, not tech. Thanks!
