Hi All,
It’s been a while I know, so I’ve got a lot to tell you!
First, I thought I would write a bit about the Marco Borsato shows a few weeks back.
I have to say that I had a huge feeling of sadness when I walked off the stage on the last night of the 9 gigs I performed with Marco. Every night felt better than the night before; not only being on stage singing to 32,000 people, but watching Marco and his incredible band and orchestra, who totally blew me away every single night.
Marco has taught me a lot about being an artist; it has been very inspiring for me to see how he juggles being an amazing performer, a well respected artist with a very grounded attitude, as well as a person who places as much importance on his family and the people around him – he is a true artist in my eyes.
He would walk off stage every night after being cheered and adored by a total of 300,000 people and casually sit drinking a beer with everyone at the hotel bar, and chatting away as though what had just happened was another universe. He has no ego, and has been so welcoming and wonderful to me, my sister Mia, and everyone around him.
