Seller canceled, I already paid, now what?

Hi!

The seller wants to cancel the order, because he ran out of stock. I already paid through Paypal.

I got a cancellation message from Ebay. They say: "Accepteer de aanvraag voor annulering alleen als je nog niet betaald hebt of als de verkoper je al heeft terugbetaald. Als je je terugbetaling nog niet hebt ontvangen, moet je contact opnemen met de verkoper"

Meaning: Do not agree unless you have received back your money. Contact the seller if you haven't.

The Seller however refers to the selling guide from Ebay, chapter cancelling. There it says that with payment through Paypal the refund is automatic. https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/getting-paid/cancelling-transaction?id=4136

So I have to opposing messages now.... I don't know which is right or what to do. Please help. I'm ok with cancel, but only if I receive my payment back of course

Dit is een nederlands forum, je kunt hier dus gewoon in het Nederlands communiceren.

In dit geval : Neem contact op met Paypal.

De gegevens staan op hun site.

Vraag daar hoe zij hier mee omgaan en of je automatisch je geld terugkrijgt.

Ah okee. Ik heb contact opgenomen met de ebay helpdesk. Die raadden nogmaals aan de verkoper te vragen om eerst het bedrag terug te storten en anders paypal in te schakelen. Verkoper heeft op 2e verzoek terugbetaald en daarna heb ik akkoord gegeven op de annulering. Opgelost.
