I can't pay with Paypal, I keep getting errorcode: 7004710417, what's wrong here?

I just won an Ebay item, but for some reasong I can't pay with Paypal, I keep getting error code 7004710417, any thoughts abouit this?

The seller says Paypal is allright, but he is new on Ebay, no feedback (0) at this moment at all.

I've got the same problem. Keep getting the same message.

The seller is a top rated one so thats not the problem.

I also live in Holland.

i've sent a message to paypal about this and i'm waiting for them to reply.

There has been a PayPal data center outage on October 30. This seems to have caused a failed connection between PayPal accounts and their correspondiging bank accounts thus forcing the use of a credit card. PayPal is still busy recovering from the outage at this point.

A (temporary) solution might be, to manually transfer the desired amount of money to the PayPal account.

PayPal heeft een storing in een van de datacentra gehad op 30 oktober. Het lijkt erop, dat dit heeft veroorzaakt dat PayPal-accounts niet meer (correct) gekoppeld zijn aan de bankrekeningen, waarbij het gebruik van een creditcard wordt afgedwongen. PayPal is op dit moment nog bezig met herstelwerkzaamheden.

Een (tijdelijke) oplossing kan zijn, om handmatig het gewenste bedrag over te maken naar het PayPal-account.

Well, I registered both my bank account number and my creditcard number as well on my long time Paypal account again, and now everyting is the way it should be.....I can buy on Ebay and pay with Paypal again..
